Goldenwood's laundry cabinets are fitted joinery: measured on site, drawn to your laundry and installed by Goldenwood's own crew across all Sydney council areas. The standard build is engineered board in a sprayed two-pack finish, with a stone top where the design calls for one, and the size, layout, colour and finish all follow your brief.
What are laundry cabinets made of?
Engineered board as standard, sprayed in two-pack polyurethane or two-pack paint: the same build as Goldenwood's kitchens and vanities. Where the design has a stone benchtop, it can be honed or polished, and it is templated and fitted to the cabinets.
Nothing about the design is fixed. The size, the layout, the colour and the finish follow your brief, and the board can give way to timber: any timber on the materials page can be ordered in.
Can custom laundry joinery be drawn with the wardrobes and kitchen?
Yes. Laundry storage comes out of the same Wetherill Park workshop as the wardrobes, kitchens and vanities, so the laundry can be drawn with the rest of the home's joinery, in one board and one finish.
Before the first cut, the laundry is measured, drawn and shown to you in 3D, with two design rounds included to change it.
Do you measure and install laundry cabinets yourselves?
Yes. Laundry cabinets are fitted work: Goldenwood measures your laundry on site, draws the cabinets to that room and installs them with its own crew, in every Sydney council area.
How long does laundry joinery take?
Your quote sets the time. Laundry cabinets are fitted joinery, so the lead time depends on the scope, the timber and how busy the workshop is, and it is confirmed in the quote. For comparison, most catalogue pieces ship within 8–14 weeks of design confirmation.
What does the warranty cover on laundry cabinets?
How the cabinets are built is guaranteed for 10 years: a defect in the joinery, structure or finish that comes from how Goldenwood made them. Water damage is not covered, and nor are heat, harsh cleaning agents, impact or normal wear, so in a laundry wipe spills and splashes up promptly.
