Can you make a boardroom table to our design?

Yes. The Kensington Boardroom Table in our collection is one starting point: solid Tasmanian Oak, 4,800 mm long for sixteen seats, on pedestal bases, with cable access built into the top. Its length, base, timber and finish can all change to fit your room and your drawing.

Do we need finished drawings before we come to you?

No. We can prepare the shop drawings from a concept design; that is how the AETOS K and Ma+King Studio jobs started.

Can the timber match our design palette?

Usually. Any timber on our materials list can be ordered in for the job, from American Walnut and Blackbutt to Spotted Gum and Jarrah, and we can source timbers beyond it.

At 6 Coates Place, Wetherill Park NSW 2164, in the family-owned furniture and joinery workshop that has built custom timber pieces there since 1988.

What commercial furniture and joinery does Goldenwood make?

Reception desks and counters, boardroom tables, storage, fitted joinery and one-off furniture, each made to the specification a designer or architect hands us. We take on the joinery for office fit-outs as well as single pieces.

The collection shows the kind of piece: the Kensington Boardroom Table in Tasmanian Oak, the Sloane Executive Desk in American Walnut on a fluted pedestal with a slim brass inlay, and the Vaucluse Executive Desk, twin pedestals of drawers under an inset writing surface.

Who has Goldenwood made commercial joinery for?

For ACE Commercial we made bespoke timber and panelled joinery, drew the shop drawings and ran the installation. For AETOS K we developed shop drawings from their concept design, then made and installed custom timber joinery in step with the builder's programme. For Ma+King Studio we turned their design into shop drawings, took it through production and installed it.

How long does commercial joinery take?

It is fixed in your quote, because it depends on how much joinery the job holds, which timber it needs and what the workshop already has on.

Can you install an office fit-out outside Sydney?

Yes. For regional NSW and interstate offices the pieces travel by specialist furniture transport, and where it suits the job a Goldenwood maker meets them at the other end to install them.
